Our Vision

Grown up ‘kids’ enjoying the outdoors, caring for naturing and acting as good environmental stewards.

WELCOME TO LOVELAND LEARNING GARDEN!

We strive to make learning and outdoor exploration an adventure! Through our programming, kids get to dive into nature and get hands-on with plants, animals, and the great outdoors. We mix learning with fun activities to help foster valuable and lifelong connections to their outdoor experiences. Among our many activities, kids can see how food grows, taste fresh veggies, and even lend a hand by harvesting food for donation to local food pantries. It's all about sharing the excitement of nature and helping kids develop a real love for our environment. Come join us and let's discover the wonders of the natural world together!

Our Story

Back in 2002, Loveland Learning Garden started as a simple flower garden on a schoolyard, all thanks to a grandma's vision of sharing the joy of fresh flowers with kids. Over time, we added veggies and a nature trail, growing into one of the top, most comprehensive, school garden programs nationwide. Our programming has been recognized as a model for nature-based education training.

Our founder retired in 2016 and a new team has stepped up, committed to keeping the magic alive. Today, we're bursting with fresh energy and a refreshed identity to meet the curiosity and learning of our community youth. With strong school partnerships, diverse leadership, and lots of community love, we're all about teaching kids the wonders of nature and inspiring them for life.
